Posed perfectly! These two were postcard perfect for our little family photo shoot on Harrison Lake.

Our little "pack" of hooligans. Becoming their alpha came natural to me but is a very necessary part of owning a mal!

Our two girls! Two sisters - two friends and two completely different characters!

An active member of the family! Whatever you are doing, your Alaskan Malamute will want to be right there doing it with you!

And how they LOVE the snow!!

Running off Christmas dinner - at 5 weeks old!

They are getting more active everyday and such a joy to watch as they wrestle and play their games!  These photos are taken during their first decent amount of time spent running around the yard.  Lots to see and learn!

4 weeks old!

Adorable balls of fluff!  These guys are beautiful!  They are getting around, wrestling each other, chasing each other in a clumsy puppy way!  Great entertainment for sure.

Sorry about the red eye on these photos, needed to get them posted and haven't had a chance to fix the red eye.

Coco, curiously studying new noises.

Nordic front and center, loves being wherever the excitement is!

Aurora looking pretty!

Pretty Noelle

 Ginger wondering what just moved.

Zema checking it out!

Big fluffy Chinook!

Eggnog just ready to talk and offer his opinion

Wynter is wondering if that camera could just go and she could get her nap in!

Now a couple of random group photos...

Three weeks old - a little Christmas cheer!

With a few props to help with the Christmas cheer, here are a few closeups to help see the face mask and colouring of each of our babies!

These puppies will not be ready for their new homes till mid January.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland!

I am so glad the camera was along on this walk - we live in a gorgeous area and the dogs were loving all the white stuff!!

This post has photos of our three adults.  Sophie (mother of this current litter), Kaiah (the mother of the last litter in June 2013) and Storm aka "Big Daddy!'

Sophie (front) and Kaiah running through the snow along the Fraser River!

Kaiah is very photogenic!
Storm & Sophie - the parents of the current litter.

Sophie loved the romp although was very happy to be back with her brood afterwards!

That smile gets me every time! Kaiah

If dogs could talk - Storm seems to be in the middle of some advise!

Timing is everything - Sophie's tongue caught at a funny moment.

Tearing up the white stuff!

The two sisters

We live in a beautiful area! Majestic mountains, mighty Fraser River, snow, wildlife - notice the bald eagle eating the salmon - the two pretty girls in the photo help the photo too!

We are receiving lots of interest in Sophies litter of puppies, if you would like one, it would be wise to act quick.  Click the link on the top of this blog called "Puppy Questionnaire" and fill us in on why you would have the perfect home for one of our babies!

Sleepin' cuties!

I have promised some of you that the blog was going to be updated tonight with some more photos...so here they are in their whelping box.  They looked much too comfortable to disrupt.  Dismiss the red glow, it is from the heat lamp which was quite necessary with this last snap of cold weather.

Gender questions: In the last two posts I have written the girls' names in PINK and the boys in BLUE, but I did not explain that, so hopefully that hasn't caused too much confusion.
6 BOYS:
Coco, Nordic, Ginger, Zema, Chinook & Eggnog
4 GIRLS:
Aurora, Noelle, Nakai & Wynter

Wynter

Coco

Chinook

Aurora - love the way "a dog pile" is so comfortable for these guys!

Eggnog

Nordic

I know there isn't close up photos of all of them, but if they were certain ones
at the bottom of the dog pile that is where they stayed.  They are just
over two weeks now and there mobility is definitely advancing everyday.
Aren't they adorable?
