At 5 weeks old they are getting around, investigating any moving object, harassing their siblings, but still also napping a lot. They are just starting their solid foods and so their poor mom is getting a bit of a reprieve - finally! Kahlua is a great mom and doesn't do a harsh weening, its a slow elongated process, which in the end she takes the biggest toll for.
Their characters are starting to show and so I will share a little bit about each one at this age - I won't comment on how they are all so adorably cute - the photos show you that!
Swift is feisty when playing with her playmates, and loves investigating on her own or with another. During our cuddle time she's a wiggler, always trying to check something out and loves to shower you with kisses. She's a lot of fun!
Mist can't get any where fast enough. She finds the most humorous and unorthodox methods to get from A to B. She's up for a challenge and can handle her own amongst her siblings. She is the clown of this bunch and is very enjoyed!
Gail likes a calm interaction. She loves giving lots of kisses in payment for her cuddles. Although she enjoys wrestling with her siblings she shows more independence and will do her own thing if she so chooses.
Ernie is a fun & energetic pup. Calm but willing to tousle with the best of them. If somethings being investigated, he's joining in. He is sweet as pie and also enjoys his cuddle time!
Fern is a pretty chill girl, approaching everything about in the middle of the pack. She loves being with her siblings, both in a napping puppy pile or in a wrestle. She loves a good cuddle and a scratch, and is the politest pup when eating kibble directly from your hand.
Jake is a fun and adventurous guy. Able to rough house with any of his siblings, or entertain himself with a toy or leaf, and then come running over for a good scratch or cuddle. He's a lot of fun!
